Catalog description

This is a foundational course required of all first-year clinical students. The course includes an overview of ethics, ethical decision-making, and intake interview skills. Since students typically have had training in research (e.g., CITI Program's Responsible Conduct of Research, Good Clinical Practice), this course will focus more explicitly on ethics related to clinical practice. As such, this course lays the groundwork for subsequent clinical courses and practicum.
