This graduate-level course is intended to strengthen and extend materials covered in the PSYC 809 : Introduction to Clinical Science course and is required of all clinical students in the child/family track. PSYC 803 sits at the intersection of theory, research, and practice and serves as an essential building block in an integrated sequence of coursework, research, and applied experiences that aim to empower clinical scientists to understand how behavioral and mental health problems develop and to apply an evidence-informed lens to improve well-being within and across systems through prevention and intervention.
