Catalog description

Europe is facing numerous complex issues ranging from economic uncertainty and rising populism to integrating migrants and respecting minority rights. A common thread running through these issues is the movement of people across national borders. This class examines how the movement of people into Europe and within Europe affects, and in turn is affected by, the politics in Europe, which are quite different from the politics in the United States. Drawing comparisons between Europe and the U.S. is an important feature of this class.
