A study of the U.S. Supreme Court's interpretation of the constitutional protections of the Bill of Rights and the Fourteenth Amendment. Relying upon the Court's written opinions in cases involving civil liberties and civil rights, the course examines how the Constitution limits the powers of both the federal and state governments. Honors version available.
