This course examines and applies the role of communications in shaping, implementing, and evaluating public discourse and policies. Students will learn about strategic communication tools and techniques in the context of public policy, focusing on effective advocacy, persuasion, and engagement. By the end of the course, students will understand the benefits of strategic communication campaigns and be equipped to lead such campaigns from conception to completion, at both small and large scales.
