Catalog description

Explore the intricate layers that define and give meaning to a location. This course comprehensively examines the physical, cultural, historical, and emotional dimensions that contribute to a place's identity. The course will use a variety of topics to serve as a basis for why we plan, who plans, how we plan, and how we implement. Students will engage in critical discussions to deepen their appreciation of how places are more than mere locations -- they are living entities with unique stories and souls.
