Catalog description

This is an introductory course on city planning. You will become familiar with the various issues and challenges planners face, the stakeholders involved (including local government, business owners, real estate developers, community activists), and the methods planners use to solve them. In exploring communication and city challenges, we may include some controversial speeches such as on crime and gun rights and political speeches from both main US political parties.
