Catalog description

This course covers the foundational concepts and intellectual movements in City Planning. It emphasizes communication, presentation and persuasion skills. This course will prepare students to be active, engaged and confident participants in their community planning processes. In exploring communication and city challenges, we may include some controversial speeches such as on crime and gun rights and political speeches from both main US political parties.
