Financial and Data Management in Global Medicines Development.

Catalog description
This course prepares students to apply financial, analytical, and strategic principles across the full lifecycle of global medicines development. Students will build skills in financial modeling, Excel, and generative AI; design and measure data strategies; and develop comprehensive business cases and operating plans. Core topics include finance and accounting fundamentals, cost-effectiveness and ROI analysis, market access strategies, project management, venture capital, and pathways to product launch. Emphasis is placed on data visualization, storytelling, and ethical considerations in data collection and interpretation, enabling students to create and evaluate sustainable, evidence-based business plans in the global biopharmaceutical arena.
