Global Pharmacy Elective.

Catalog description

This elective course provides students with an opportunity to engage in an immersive experience within a global pharmacy environment. Students will take an intensive look into a specific pharmacy topic (e.g., history of pharmacy, complementary and alternative medicine) at a global site. Prior to departure, students will attend didactic sessions to prepare for their global experience. Once onsite, students will learn through guided discussions and interactions with pharmacy leaders and community members. This elective will also enhance learners' cultural sensitivity by engaging in unique cultural experiences. Note -- elective available for an additional cost, on top of regular tuition.
