Catalog description
Community-based pharmacist practitioners routinely provide enhanced patient care services to meet health care needs in the communities they serve. This course will expose students to novel ways in which community-based pharmacists are leading change and providing patient care, including but not limited to health and wellness services, immunization services, medication management, chronic care management services, care transitions with medication reconciliation, and specialty pharmacy. Students will complete the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) Pharmacy-based Point-of-Care Test & Treat Respiratory Certificate Program (fee associated).
