Catalog description

Radiology Literature Review course is intended to introduce the graduate student to the current literature of topical areas of general interest to those teaching and working in the area of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Representative articles are chosen to illustrate fundamental concepts, sound research methodology, and pitfalls in research design. The primary reviewer will present a verbal abstract of the article, discussing the significance, aims, materials and methods, results, and conclusions. Subsequent group discussion will focus on the strengths and weaknesses of the research and its implications for current research and practice.
