Catalog description

This course covers global perspectives on nutrition across the life cycle including US and international food-based recommendations for the following life phases: Adults, Pregnancy and Lactation, Infants and Toddlers, Children and Adolescents, and Older Adults. Heavy emphasis is placed on understanding diet-disease relationships across each life phase as well as opportunities and strategies for intervention using life course and ecological perspectives.
