This elective course examines the current issues involved in managing diabetes mellitus in persons over their lifespan with an interprofessional lens. Contributions from all members of the healthcare team are an important theme throughout this course. This course integrates the pathophysiology of disease, therapeutics, and psychosocial modalities into the management of patients with diabetes. Previously offered as NURS 516. Majors only.
