Catalog description

This faculty-led immersion provides students with the opportunity to observe and participate in culturally responsive nursing practice within a global setting or a "local as global" context. Learning experiences may occur internationally or within under-resourced communities of need in the United States. Students will apply nursing knowledge and skills to address the health needs of individuals, families and communities while developing a deeper understanding of global health perspectives.
