Catalog description

An introduction to computational linguistics, a subfield of linguistics that explores natural language using computational tools and perspectives. We'll be using Python to analyze language structure at various levels, considering how computational approaches can help inform our understanding of natural language phonology, syntax, and semantics. We will also consider applications in natural language processing including, but not limited to, topics like segmentation, part-of-speech tagging, and parsing.
