Catalog description

The course will introduce students to the legal and policy landscape surrounding public corruption. The course will focus mainly on the federal criminal statutes aimed at corruption, but it will also touch on campaign finance laws, certain constitutional doctrines, and state anti-corruption laws. In addition to teaching doctrine, it will ask students to grapple with the policy implications of corruption and of anti-corruption efforts.
