This course critically examines generative AI tools in legal research and practice. Students will explore how tool design, function, and prompting shape outputs, and will evaluate GenAI-generated work for accuracy, authority, analysis, and completeness. The course also considers GenAI's broader implications for ethics, access to justice, and professional responsibility, preparing students to engage these technologies thoughtfully and effectively in legal practice.
