Externship Program.

Catalog description

The Summer Externship Program is offered for six weeks beginning in mid-May. Students are selected by lottery process and receive 2, 3, or 4 credits for work on site at their field placement. Two credits require a minimum of 14 hours on site per week; three credits require a minimum of 21 hours on site per week; four credits require a minimum of 28 hours on site per week. Students submit weekly journals and timesheets; attend conferences with their faculty supervisor; attend weekly remote class meetings on Fridays. A Monday orientation class (via Zoom) is required before the program begins.
