Catalog description

This course situates Italian feminist thought within a web of historical, social, and political exchanges that cross national and regional boundaries. The course trains students to classify and analyze how Italian feminisms emerge from - and respond to - political issues, environmental concerns, diasporic movements, labor regimes, and colonial legacies, while engaging with feminist debates from the Global South, the Mediterranean, and beyond the North Atlantic.
