Program Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.

Catalog description
The course focuses on approaches to program planning, implementation, and evaluation that promote individual and community health. It will enable students to understand the essential steps in the program planning and implementation process, including 1) needs assessment, 2) establishing program goals and objectives, 3) selecting and developing program and implementation strategies, and 4) evaluating process, outcomes, and impact. Students will be introduced to evidence-based approaches to promote effective program implementation and evaluation. Attention to cultural humility and contextual adaptations will be integrated throughout the course. Students will learn and apply relevant frameworks and tools through course assignments.
