Catalog description

This course provides a practical introduction to experimental methods and machine learning techniques with direct applications in health services research. Students will engage in hands-on activities to build practical skills in designing and analyzing experiments -- both small and large scale -- to address causal questions in health services. Additionally, students will apply supervised machine learning approaches to tackle prediction problems relevant to health services research.
