Permission of the instructor for students lacking the prerequisites. Students will apply models and statistical techniques to original health services research; understand major techniques used to estimate causal relationships in quasi-experimental designs, including panel data and simultaneous equations models; and gain intuition and skills about the art of econometrics, including techniques for using complex survey data and handling missing data.
