Catalog description

This course will provide students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about the health policy development process. Students will gain an understanding of the different ways in which health policy is made through the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government, as well as the role of the media and advocates/stakeholder groups in shaping health policy. Students will also gain practical experience designing and implementing a campaign aimed at changing health policy.
