This course introduces global health in context, covering foundational frameworks, economic and policy approaches, and the organization of health systems worldwide. Students explore service delivery challenges in low- and middle-income countries--including quality improvement, digital health, and pharmaceuticals--and examine cross-cutting issues such as noncommunicable diseases, climate change, and displacement.
