Catalog description

Recommended preparation, GLBL 210. This course seeks to explore the intersections of love and freedom and will toggle between the ways in which these ideas are used by activist groups and the spiritual/religious perspectives themselves. There will be a particular emphasis on coming to understand how diverse religious/spiritual perspectives address key problematics or issues such as hierarchy, difference, power, oppression, equality, money, and liberation. Honors version available.
