Catalog description

This course explores the intersections between law and literature, examining how legal and literary texts inform and reflect each other. Students will engage with novels, plays, short stories, and legal cases to explore themes such as justice, morality, power, authority, and individual rights. Featuring guest speakers from legal and literary professions and close reading and critical analysis of key law and literary texts.
