Environmental Applications of Drones.

Catalog description

This course explores the ways Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS, aka ''drones'') are used to view and map our world for managing environment and natural resources. Students will learn how drone imagery is used to solve environmental problems, gain the knowledge necessary to obtain a drone pilots license, get hands-on experience planning missions and flying drones to gather imaging data, and process this imagery with software to produce geospatial products.
