Catalog description

Introduction to modeling of populations, predators and prey, and food webs. Topics such as population regulation, competition, mutualisms, predator-prey interactions, feeding behavior, life history strategies, diversity, stability, community assemblages and food webs are discussed. Students will be introduced to basic modeling in R and food web modeling in the Ecopath with Ecosim software.
