Introduction to marine sciences emphasizing physical, chemical, biological, and geological phenomenon in oceanic and coastal environments. Human use of, and impact on, marine resources. Science majors should take EMES 401. Students may not receive credit for both EMES 103 and EMES 202 . Course previously offered as GEOL 103/MASC 101.
