Catalog description

This course introduces implementation science as a practical discipline for understanding and improving how evidence informed practices, programs, and policies are enacted within complex organizational systems. Designed for practitioners working across sectors, the course emphasizes conceptual fluency and applied use of implementation frameworks rather than preparation for implementation research. Students will examine core principles of implementation science and the functions of major frameworks, including determinant, process, strategy, and evaluation frameworks. Students will apply these frameworks to a real change initiative in their organization to diagnose implementation challenges, design implementation processes, align strategies, and define meaningful measures of implementation success.
