Professional Seminar: Culture, Curriculum and Teacher Education.

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge and support for doctoral students in the Culture, Curriculum and Teacher Education strand of the Ph.D. in Education program. We will focus on developing knowledge about how doctoral students can thrive in the program and in academia more broadly. The seminar will be a space for doctoral students in the strand to develop ''practical'' knowledge and skills needed to become an educational researcher. This will include having opportunities to present and get feedback on their work and discuss questions and issues about the program and academia more generally
