Catalog description
New media and technologies shape how children and youth (CYP) learn, play, and engage socially. This course explores how today's connected and AI-driven technologies create new challenges and opportunities for CYP's education. It examines how technology affects literacy, learning, play, identity, social movements, and well-being. Students will learn to design and implement qualitative research projects driven by their own related interests. They will learn to communicate their findings effectively and creatively to stakeholders (including CYP), and how propose educational design implications that extend from their findings.
