Catalog description

Exploration of the way citizens have impacted and transformed American society through their active participation in local, state, and federal governments. Students will examine plays written about or inspired by legal cases and political arguments. Students will research journals, government reports, interviews and correspondence to learn how theatre artists engage in writing about laws and government actions, and will write their own plays based on court cases and current events.
