Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with more advanced knowledge and skill in dental hygiene functions. Students will also begin to prepare for the transition from being a dental hygiene student to becoming a registered dental hygienist. Students will be provided guidance in increasing clinical competency in basic dental hygiene skills and problem solving. Emphasis will be placed on comprehensive patient care. Restricted to Dental Hygiene Students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program.
