Catalog description

Molecular structure and its determination by modern physical methods, correlation between structure and reactivity and the theoretical basis for these relationships, classification of reaction types exhibited by organic molecules using as examples molecules of biological importance. This course requires evening exams scheduled outside of regular class hours (fall, spring). Please review the class notes for exam times and dates before registering. Honors version available.
