This capstone course for Business of Health Minors, integrates knowledge from business, public health, organizational behavior, and ethics to address a pressing real-world challenge: the adoption of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Students apply interdisciplinary frameworks to assess risks, benefits, governance, and stakeholder impacts of emerging AI technologies in large health systems. Students identify AI solutions, evaluate unintended consequences, and develop actionable business cases. The course culminates in final team presentations, where students pitch their recommendations to leaders at UNC Health, bridging academic insight with real-world healthcare innovation.
