Catalog description

This course explores the pivotal role of businesses in tackling Global development challenges. Through four thematic modules - business and government, human development, market development, and the environment - students examine how firms interact with institutions, people, markets, and resources to foster growth. Integrating regional perspectives and current events, the course develops students' ability to analyze business strategies in emerging economies, apply theoretical frameworks to real cases, and evaluate the impact of trade, innovation, and sustainability on global development outcomes. Students actively engage in case studies and discussions for practical learning.
