Retail is ever-evolving as consumer finances, preferences, and tastes shift. Retailers innovate to attract and retain customers, while management competence influences success. This course explores how retailers drive foot traffic, convert shoppers into customers, and enhance competitiveness. We examine the retailer's role as the link between the channel and consumers, analyze internal and external environments, and assess key management practices, including finances, inventory, location, and personnel. Through these topics, students will gain insights into effective retail strategies and operations in a dynamic market.
