Catalog description

This course blends insights from cognitive and organizational psychology to nurture creativity as a process and develop applied skills. Students will learn to recognize the need for creativity, change their own thinking, and foster creativity in teams and organizations. It operates on the assumptions that creative thinking is essential across professions, creativity is a learnable skill, and it complements domain expertise and analytical skills. The course emphasizes experiential learning through exercises, simulations, and discussions.
