This course examines the culture and leadership of teams. The focus is on the interpersonal processes and culture that influence the effectiveness of teams. The purpose of this course is to understand the theory and processes of group and team behavior so that leaders can successfully understand, inspire, and influence others. As you advance in your athletic and professional career, you will likely find that your time is increasingly focused on leading and harnessing the efforts of others rather than relying on your own talent or technical skills.
