Business Undergraduate Learning Assistant Practicum.

Catalog description

This practicum prepares Undergraduate Learning Assistants (ULAs) to support large introductory and core Kenan-Flagler courses such as BUSI 100 and BUSI 200 . BUSI 391 provides a structured, high-impact experience that develops pedagogical skills, strengthens understanding of business and leadership concepts, and fosters reflective practice. Through hands-on facilitation, weekly mentorship, orientation, and engagement with teaching and learning scholarship, ULAs gain meaningful experience supporting peers and contributing to a positive academic environment. As facilitators and culture builders, they refine their communication and leadership abilities while modeling the collaborative learning culture central to the Kenan-Flagler community. GPA above 3.0 required.
