This course covers quantitative approaches to the study of human physiology for biomedical engineers. We will review several physiological systems as we focus on engineering applications, imaging and experimental techniques, quantitative analysis, and foundational scientific literature in physiological applications of biomedical engineering. Scientific computing will be used as a tool for mathematical modeling of physiological systems.
