This seminar will introduce students to the discipline of citizen science as a means to understanding more about biodiversity. Through citizen science, members of the public provide millions of biodiversity observations each year. We will learn about the promise of citizen science for answering important questions in biodiversity science, we will contribute our own observations, and we will learn to analyze citizen science data.
