Catalog description

Light microscopy is at the core of molecular, cell and developmental biology research, and provides us with invaluable tools to investigate biological processes. This class covers light microscopy techniques currently used in research laboratories, from basic to cutting-edge, through hands-on experience on a variety of light microscopes. We will use a rail-based teaching microscope to illustrate basic light microscopy principles, as well as research-grade commercial microscopes.
