Catalog description

The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the theory, origins, and practice of genome engineering technologies and their applications in medicine and industry. In addition, we will consider the challenges and impacts to society and the ethical choices these technologies create. This course is intended for advanced undergraduates and graduate students. The course will cover primary literature frequently and evaluate the scientific data in these publications.
