ARTS 103 Sculpture: Introduction I (Object/Body) explores materials, methods, processes, and cultural themes in contemporary sculpture. This project-based course focuses on 3D object investigations, encouraging students to experiment with sculptural techniques, tools, and ideas as a visual language that deepens their understanding of the world through art. Students develop aesthetic sensibility, analytical capacity, and fundamental skills in sculptural media. Foundation requirement for studio majors.
