Catalog description

This course is intended for medical anthropology majors / minors to explore research methods, ethnographic ethics, issues of professionalization, and possibilities for career development in a seminar setting. In addition to practicing research techniques, this class considers career paths of applied and academic medical anthropologists as well as the other kinds of work done by people with Medical Anthropology training. Class includes focused reading, seminar discussion, and fieldwork practice. Previously offered as ANTH 326.
