Catalog description
This course is for students selected as Undergraduate Learning Assistants (ULAs) for Anthropology courses during the semester they serve as ULAs. This course involves hands-on experience in the classroom as well as an overview of teaching methods that facilitate the acquisition of knowledge in Anthropology. Experience includes assisting in class, attendance at regular mentorship meetings, pedagogical training, and opportunities for reflection. ULAs will do no grading. Permission of the instructor required and a 3.5 or higher in course taught.
