Pre- or Co-requisite: RLST 3200 - Real Estate Investments and Finance This course examines critical processes in the development of urban spatial structures and describes the developer’s role in multiple contexts. Topics include land, multifamily residential, office, industrial and retail development, risk management, two-party contracts, options/purchase agreements, architectural and engineering firms’ contracts, construction contracts, commercial leases, construction and permanent loan agreements, ownership structures, static and dynamic financial analysis, financial, economic, legal, and physical dimensions of development.
